You read the title….and tell me now: did you
already got hungry? Ugh, I did when I read the recipe. Basically I did those muffins
a couple of weeks ago for the birthday party of my friend, and they came out so
good (taste)! For the esthetical part I could have had done a little better but
yeah, it was my first try. :P
So here is what you need for 5-6 muffins:- 5 spoons of flower
- 1 egg
- 1 pinch of salt
- 140 g nutella
- A tiny little pinch of baking powder
- and everything of your choice to decorate the muffins
And that’s everything. Now, I haven’t done pictures while backing cus I thing, it’s so easy you don’t need to see it. So you just take a bowl and mix everything in it. I recommend taking a spoon to mix all the ingredients because if you would take a wire whisk the nutella will stick too much.
After that your gonna put the mixture in these ramekins and then put them in the preheated oven on 180 degrees for 20-30 min. To check out if they’re good you only need to stab in with a knife or a fork. Always remember: these are Nutella-Muffins which means the inside is never gonna be really thick as you would do normal choco-muffins. So they’re a little more “kind of liquid” inside.
As a tip: don’t add any sugar! I haven’t and they already were really sweet so.
Now on to the decoration. Here you can literally do whatever you like! To let glow on all the little things, you should put them maybe on after the muffin where in the oven for like 15 min, and then put the muffins back in the oven. I didn’t I put nutella on top and then de decoration, which made it actually too sweet. If you’re doing the muffins on a cold day, you can put cream on it and than maybe add some decos. I did it on a hot day, so the cream would melt and get bad.
As it was a gift for my friend, I decorated the whole. So I took a cardboard and wrapped it in gift paper. Then I put all the muffins on top. I added a Nutella cup in the middle as gift and also because I thought it’ll look cool (and this was btw the idea of a friend that helped me). Than I also added some “happy birthday” flag, which I just printed them out, cut them and glued on a stick.
With some clear-rainbow wrapping paper I wrapped the whole thing and added two balloons to make a real festival-/party-mood- looking gift.
And that was it! Mhhh I think if you weren’t hungry after the title than you are now, am I right? :P
Have fun if you’re gonna make this at home and wish you a nice time until the next post! :)Lots of love,
xoxo Monia ♥
