I recently watched a movie called "If I Stay" and it was so blooming good that I had to write a review of it.
First of all: if you're an emotional person like I am you will cry a lot while watching this movie. But for me it was worth it.
It basically tells a story about a girl called Mia Hall. She's in high school and is a passionated cello musician. One day she met this wonderful guy called Adam which she fell in love with.
Adam is a guitar player and singer of a band. They started planing their future together.
One morning as Mia Hall and her family were about to start their regular day, the radio announced that school has been cancelled because of the snow. So they thought they could do something all together and spent a family day. While they were sitting in the car driving somewhere something really bad happened.
You may know this story from the book which is from Gayle Forman and it's called the same. The novel was published in 2009.
I love the way the movie is done. It changes the time of her life during the movie. So it starts of with the morning of the accident than it goes back in the past then back to the future and it does this all the time. It makes you laugh, cry, feel emotional in every sense. It is basically like a little roller coaster of emotions.
I can only recommend you this movie (I've not read the book yet) and if you've already seen it, comment below and tell me what you think about it! :)
For those of you who hasn't seen it, here's the trailer:
