Getting my first TATTOO

Hello beauties!! :)

Hope everyone is doing well! Today I want to show you my very first tattoo I got! I did it on my 18. Birthday which was on the 11th of January.
Now just to say, I know Tattoos are not for everyone so if you don't like them, you clearly don't have to like mine.

I did a sun behind the ear. Now before I say what it means to me, I tell you about the pain. I didn't feel anything...like it didn't hurt. It's as simple as that. At one point it even tickled which was pretty awkward. Haha.

Now on to the meaning: This is the "official" sun of where I come from (in Italy). The city is called Lecce, also known for Salento. And they have a little sentence for like representing this city and it goes: Lu sure, lu mare, lu ientu, Salentu. Which is in dialect and means: The sun, the sea, the wind, Salento.
Since I'm a person that feels nostalgic really quick and always misses Italy, as well as my relatives living there, I wanted something as a tattoo that reminded me a bit of all that.

And now why the sun? I could have choose also the sea or the wind but I didn't. Well it's quit simple. The sun reminds me of laughter and happiness. In german, if you see someone smiling bright you have a saying that goes like: "you shine like the sun". I like the sun. Even when the weather is good and the sun is shining, everyone automatically is in a better mood. And it really reminds me to be happy.
And that is also why I did it behind the ear. I'm one of those girls who always does a dutt to sleep. That means that in the morning while I'm getting ready and putting some make-up on, I'd always see it.

I did also a video and posted with this blog as well, but it's (as always) in German..

Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed!

Hallo ihr Hübschen! :)
Ich hoffe euch geht es allen gut! Heute möchte ich euch mein aller erstes Tattoo zeigen! Ich habe es mir an meinem 18. Geburtstag, also am 11. Januar, stechen lassen.
